The Support Specialist II is responsible for developing and maintaining internal documentation and procedures in accordance with established guidelines. This role includes verifying manually entered core data for accuracy and compliance with regulatory and documentation standards. Additional responsibilities include pre-reviewing and processing escrow analyses, as well as monitoring and managing incoming emails to a designated mailbox.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains internal documents/procedures.
- Maintains internal email and tracking system for regulatory issues.
- Verifies data entered on the core system for accuracy to comply with departmental procedures and regulations.
- Reviews files for internal or regulatory exceptions.
- Provides support and training to Lending Operations.
- Ensures all departmental documents and activities are performed in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures as applicable to this position, including completion of required compliance training.
- Reviews and processes annual escrow analyses.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Ability to effectively speak and present information in one-on-one and small group situations, to customers, clients, and other employees in the organization.
- Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must have good problem-solving skills.
- Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret government regulations, trade journals, and legal documents.
- Must have the ability to effectively respond to common inquiries from associates and internal audit groups.
Education and Experience
- Previous banking experience in lending/escrow preferred
- Computer Skills
- MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Database programs
