What You'll Bring
Required:
BA/BS in biology, natural resource science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-2 years of experience
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) and work in remote, challenging environments.
Familiarity with ArcGIS, Garmin and/or Trimble GPS, and digital data collection platforms.
Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility and initiative.
Driver's License Required: This position requires a valid driver's license and/or the ability to operate a company vehicle due to the nature of job duties, which include frequent travel to various client locations across a large geographical area.

Preferred:
Master’s degree in biology or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in biological surveys, permitting, or impact assessment.
Knowledge of Nevada Conservation Credit System, sage-grouse monitoring, and avian surveys.
Key Responsibilities
Perform fieldwork and desk-based analyses for baseline studies and impact assessments.
Collect, organize, and interpret ecological data using digital tools.
Prepare technical reports and contribute to permitting documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and regulators to ensure project success.
Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and compliance.
For the Consulting Senior Associate, Wildlife Biologist position, the anticipated annual base pay is $67,200–$85,420 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
