Key Skills
- Senior‑level Integration Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in TIBCO BusinessWorks (BW 6)
- Proven experience delivering high‑quality, scalable integration solutions in enterprise environments
- Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts
- Highly collaborative individual who can work effectively with Enterprise Architects, Business Product Owners, Platform, Security, and Production Support teams to deliver cohesive, customer‑centric solutions
- Ability to take technical ownership of TIBCO‑based integrations, while working alongside another technology lead
You Will
- Serve as the primary technical owner for TIBCO BusinessWorks–based integrations
- Build well‑designed, robust, scalable, and production‑ready integration solutions
- Engineer application integrations using messaging solutions, event‑driven patterns, and REST APIs
- Work closely with Business Teams and Solution Architecture to ensure alignment with the product roadmap and design blueprint
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure quality and consistency
- Triage and resolve end‑to‑end system integration issues across middleware systems and supporting infrastructure
- Provide production support on a rotational basis, and offer occasional support during US business hours, based on business needs
Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 12+ years of overall IT experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise integration platforms, specifically TIBCO BusinessWorks (Version 6)
- Understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies
- Industry experience implementing REST APIs, Data‑Driven Design, Microservices Architecture, Enterprise Integration Patterns, and Event‑Driven Architecture
- Experience designing user‑friendly APIs using OpenAPI / Swagger specifications
- Experience integrating with messaging platforms such as ActiveMQ, IBM MQ
- Experience with Docker containers and AWS Cloud services including S3, Lambda, SQS/SNS, Redis Cache, and OpenSearch
- Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Apache Camel, TIBCO BusinessWorks (Version 6), MuleSoft, or similar EAI frameworks
- Experience with rules engines such as OpenL, Drools, or Blaze
- Experience with version control and CI/CD automation tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and Maven
- Experience with API security frameworks, token management, and access control mechanisms including OAuth 2.0 and JWT
- Experience with logging and monitoring tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, and Zenoss
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Java / J2EE (Java 8 or later)
- Insurance or financial services domain experience, preferably in life, disability, or benefits administration systems
