Role Overview
The Capital Project Delivery (CPD) Outbound Team at ERM Korea supports Korean companies expanding overseas by providing strategic Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulatory and permitting coordination services. While detailed permitting and regulatory approvals are executed by ERM’s overseas offices in each country, this role serves as a key coordinator and interface between Korean clients and ERM global teams. A strong understanding of environmental permitting and EHS regulatory processes is essential in order to effectively manage coordination, scope alignment, and communication between stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Support Korean clients during overseas expansion by assisting with EHS permitting reviews and regulatory considerations.
Conduct high-level EHS regulatory risk screenings and support the development of permitting and compliance strategies in coordination with ERM overseas offices.
Maintain and apply a practical understanding of environmental permitting and EHS regulatory frameworks to support effective coordination.
Support data preparation for EHS permits, review, and quality control of permitting-related documentation and client deliverables.

2. Project Coordination and Client Interface
Act as the primary coordination point between Korean clients and ERM overseas offices responsible for in-country permitting and regulatory execution.
Support overall project coordination, including schedule alignment, scope management, and internal communication.
Required Qualifications
1. Education
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Environmental Engineering or a closely related environmental discipline (e.g., Environmental Science, Environmental Management).
2. Experience & Technical Competencies
3–5 years of professional experience in environmental consulting, environmental permitting, or environmental engineering.
Practical experience with domestic (Korean) environmental permitting is required.
Experience with Integrated Environmental Permitting (통합환경인허가) is preferred.
Demonstrated understanding of environmental permitting processes and EHS regulatory frameworks sufficient to support technical coordination roles.
3. Language & Communication Skills
Business-level English proficiency required for coordination with overseas teams, document review, and meetings.
Communication skills to effectively manage client and internal coordination.
