Shape and strengthen KYC risk frameworks within a complex regulatory environment
The Role
We are seeking a Consultant to lead and enhance KYC risk management capabilities for a leading financial institution. This role focuses on ensuring robust alignment with regulatory expectations while proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across the KYC lifecycle. You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and support a strong compliance culture.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee the KYC risk management framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Identify, assess, and monitor KYC-related risks across onboarding, periodic, and event-driven reviews
- Develop and maintain risk methodologies, assessments, and control standards for KYC processes
- Analyze KYC metrics and trends to identify emerging risks and control gaps
- Partner with compliance, operations, audit, and technology teams to support risk mitigation and remediation
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in KYC, AML, or financial crime risk management within financial services or consulting
- Understanding of KYC, CDD, and EDD regulatory requirements
- Experience developing risk frameworks, methodologies, and control standards
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and present risk insights clearly
- Analytical mindset with experience identifying trends, risks, and control weaknesses

- Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, or internal reviews
- Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and multi-jurisdictional environments
- Experience working with KYC data, metrics, and reporting tools
