About the Role

1. Support the FCC team in the areas of quality assurance and data management.

2. Assist in the execution of the AML control processes to ensure compliance with the relevant AML/CFT rules and regulations, through the use of technologies.

3. Drive data analytics (“DA”) / quality assurance (“QA”) reviews that are designed as part of the early detections and surveillance monitoring tools.

4. Review / escalate any potential gaps or risk areas for further assessment and improvement.

5. Oversight for the Anti-bribery and Corruption (“ACB”) control processes

6. Management of the FCC team’s Business Continuity Management (“BCM”) programme

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Conduct QA and DA reviews in accordance with the established programme
  • Implement expansion/ improvements of the QA & DA review programmes (based on feedback from the early warning data analytics detection review results / audit findings/ KRI dashboards / advice from Group Compliance AML Center of Excellence)
  • Lead data management for AML-related data, including:
  • Data quality assurance - Monitor, audit and validate data to ensure accuracy and consistency and co-ordinate with IT and operations teams on data cleansing.
  • Data extraction & reconciliation – support the BAU team with regular data reconciliation follow-up action and ad-hoc extractions to support BAU operational activities
  • Data lifecycle management – manage archiving, retention, and deletion of FCC-managed data.
  • Support the FCC team in establishing & maintaining datamart tables and dashboards (via Databricks or Tableau) to monitor Key Risk Indicators, as well as to meet operational needs or Group reporting requirements
  • Manage and review ACB related control processes, which includes conduct yearly ACB risk assessment, prepare monthly certification to Group Compliance, conduct quarterly ACB Quality Assurance, review and clearance for ACB staff declarations, provide ACB related advisories.
  • Support regular reporting to and ad-hoc requests from various parties, such as requests/surveys from regulators, internal and external audit onsite reviews.
  • Support vendor and other counterparty engagement assessments for ACB-related controls
  • Manage the BCM plan for FCC and ensure the dependencies with other departments are kept updated.
  • Coordinate the FCC team’s Risk & Control Assessment exercise

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Degree in Accounting / Finance / Business / Data Science / Computer Science or any related field.
  • With at least 3 to 5 years of direct working experience in audit, quality assurance and/or data management (preferably from insurance, banking or Big 4).
  • Strong knowledge and experience in conducting assurance and uses of data analytics or automation tools (such as RPA, SQL, Excel, ETL) to support the QA and DA tasks.
  • Solid experience in providing support to financial crime compliance / AML function and projects would be an added advantage.
  • Team player, meticulous and attentive to details, able to multitask and take on high volume of workload.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications pertaining to AML (such as ACAMS, ICA Certification in AML) would be an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with / hands-on experience in using AML System, such as Nice Actimize would be an added advantage.
  • Diligence in delivering quality work and strong commitment to meeting timelines.
