Job Overview
Provides high quality, on-time input to client projects in the life sciences field. Assignments range in complexity from basic analysis and problem solving to assisting in the development of more complex solutions. May serve as project leader for small teams or work streams.
Job Responsibilities:
• Statistical Model Creation:
o Develop and implement statistical models to produce technical data for various projects.
o Utilize advanced statistical techniques to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the models.
o Continuously refine and update models based on new data and trends.
• Data Forecasting:
o Proficiently forecast data trends using statistical models and relevant software tools.
o Analyze historical data to predict future trends and outcomes.
o Present forecast results in a clear and concise manner to stakeholders.
• Trend Translation:
o Translate qualitative trends into quantitative forecast outputs.
o Ensure that forecasts accurately reflect current market and industry trends.
o Collaborate with qualitative analysts to integrate their insights into the forecasting models.
• Excel Proficiency:
o Demonstrate an advanced level of ability in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization tools.
o Develop and maintain Excel-based tools and templates for data analysis and reporting.
• Data Management:
o Efficiently manage and organize large quantities of numerical information.
o Ensure data integrity and accuracy through meticulous data management practices.
o Implement and maintain databases and data systems as required.
• Deadline Management:
o Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet client and product delivery deadlines.
o Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
o Adapt to changing project requirements and timelines as needed.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
o Conduct thorough data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
o Communicate challenges and propose appropriate solutions to stakeholders.
o Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
• Industry Knowledge:
o Maintain knowledge of country-specific trends in medical technology and local surgical procedure codification systems.
o Apply industry knowledge to enhance the accuracy and relevance of data forecasts.
o Stay updated on industry developments and incorporate them into the forecasting process.
• Engagement based responsibilities are assigned and managed by Senior Consultants, Engagement Managers or Principals.
Qualifications
• MBA/PGDM Degree Req
• 5+ years of related experience Req
• Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
• Knowledge and understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline.
• Knowledge of consulting methods, tools and techniques, related to one’s functional area.
• Knowledge of current events and developments within an industry and major competitors.
• Knowledge and understanding of the marketplace.
• Knowledge of professional/trade associations, key people and companies.
