Job Summary

The Consultant II, Strategic Operations & Execution serves as an internal consultant and execution partner to business leaders, supporting the planning, delivery, and integration of strategic initiatives across the organization. This role brings strong project execution, data-driven insight, and change management capability to drive operational improvements while ensuring continuity of day‑to‑day business.

Location: Hybrid 2 days/week in Dallas, TX or San Diego, CA

Remote (U.S.) considered

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior leaders to support the development and execution of business strategies, plans, and initiatives across assigned practice areas and division-wide efforts
  • Lead and/or support cross-functional projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment, sequencing, and on-time delivery
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities related to new business models, processes, and tools; support implementation aligned to division strategy
  • Apply structured change management methodologies to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business-as-usual operations
  • Analyze operational and financial data to support ad hoc reporting, business insights, and executive decision-making
  • Develop, analyze, and communicate return-on-investment (ROI) for initiatives, projects, and process redesigns in partnership with Finance
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations and Analytics teams to define, operationalize, and monitor critical performance metrics
  • Prepare executive-ready summaries, reports, and presentations clearly communicating findings, risks, and recommendations
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and internal consultant on project management best practices and execution discipline

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of relevant professional experience
    OR
    High School Diploma/GED and 9–11 years of relevant professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting cross-functional projects or initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to inform recommendations and measure outcomes
  • Experience developing executive-level presentations, summaries, and written deliverables
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare, healthcare services, or healthcare operations
  • Background in management consulting, internal consulting, or strategy roles
  • Formal or informal project management experience (e.g., large initiatives, process redesign, transformation efforts)
  • Experience partnering closely with Finance, Sales Operations, or Analytics teams
  • Familiarity with structured change management methodologies

    Pay Rate

    $75,000 - $89,000 Salary

    Final pay rate is dependent on experience, training, education, and location.
