WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US 

We are looking for a curious, methodical, and client-oriented Consultant to join our Professional Services team at Domos by SimCorp Alternatives.

This role is designed for someone who enjoys understanding complex environments, is eager to learn (or already familiar with) the specificities of alternative investments, and is motivated by solving real client problems. You bring methodical, structured reasoning and are skilled at translating business needs into technical approaches. You are also willing to contribute beyond your core scope, including participating in the continuous improvement of our product and processes.

Working closely with both clients and internal teams (Product, R&D), you will be involved in client implementation projects while also contributing, to some extent, to the evolution of the product itself.

As a Consultant, you will evaluate client needs, create tailored strategies, and partner with multiple teams to deliver significant results.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

As a member of the Domos / SimCorp Alternatives Professional Services team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Work directly with customers to gather, scope, and understand business and functional requirements, and guide them towards Domos best practice solutions
  • Analyze client needs in depth to determine the most appropriate system configuration
  • Interact with clients on both business and technical aspects
  • Write and maintain business analysis and solution documentation
  • Configure and test the system to ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Create and validate test scenarios
  • Support clients during implementation phases through to go-live and sign-off
  • Provide Level 1 production support by investigating issues, supporting users, and ensuring continuity of service
  • Identify and document product gaps and contribute to product improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to the evolution of the product by sharing client feedback and suggesting enhancements
  • Manage issues, track deliverables, and regularly communicate progress to clients and internal stakeholders
  • Assist clients in structuring their internal project plans (scope, timeline, resources, key milestones)

WHAT WE VALUE 

To perform this role effectively, you should have:

  • A Master’s degree (Bac+5) from an engineering school, business school, or university, or equivalent experience
  • Around 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • A solid techno-functional mindset, with the ability to bridge business and technical topics
  • Advanced analytical skills, logical thinking, and structured problem-solving approach
  • Attention to detail, rigor, and a solid work ethic
  • An initiative-taking attitude, capable of suggesting improvements and helping enhance both product and process
  • Experience writing functional and business specifications
  • Understanding of data models and system design principles
  • Knowledge of XML, JSON, and JavaScript (object-oriented approach appreciated)
  • Experience in software implementation projects directly with clients
  • Knowledge of alternative asset classes (demonstrated interest in learning)
  • Fluency in French and English; additional languages
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to contribute effectively on your own and within a team
