Major Duties:
Global Compliance Ireland Team Infrastructure
Maintain the register of team documentation (e.g. team procedures, compliance manual, policies) and ensure they are reviewed/approved in line with regulatory/corporate governance requirements.
Oversee internal (e.g. Boards, Committees) and external (e.g. CBI, client due diligence) compliance reporting completed by the team.
Lead the completion and approval of the team’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and liaise with Business Continuity/Disaster Recover colleagues.
Coordinate the preparation of regulatory filings (e.g. Lobbying Return) for approval by the Head of Compliance.
Group Compliance Coordination
Maintain the Service Descriptions for support provided by Group Compliance to the Irish entities (e.g. regulatory change).
Perform monthly oversight of Key Performance Indicators, escalate matters to relevant stakeholders and manage the annual review of theses Service Descriptions.
Oversee the annual Compliance Training Programme for the Irish entities.
Compliance Monitoring
Undertake assigned compliance monitoring in line with the annual Ireland Compliance Programs.
Monitor and assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the measures, controls and procedures put in place by business units to address NT’s compliance with its regulatory obligations.
Document timely, accurate, concise and high-quality conclusions.
Other
Participates in developing Compliance programs and acts as a contact point within the company for Compliance inquiries from partners.
Participates in establishing written guidance on the appropriate implementation of Compliance programs and laws, regulations, rules and standards, through policies and procedures and other documents, such as Compliance manuals, internal codes of conduct and practice guidelines.
Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of Compliance risk avoidance.
Knowledge:
Knowledge of risk management and the Company's strategic goals.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks, applicable laws and regulations, acquired through formal education and work experience, is required.
Analytical and communication skills are necessary to consult with and communicate information to partners/clients; to analyze and summarize information; and to apply laws and regulations to the Company's business.
Experience:
5-7 or more years' experience, preferably in Compliance or risk management; or equivalent related experience.
