Position Overview
The Consultant – Business Management is a hybrid role designed for a proactive, highly organized, and business-savvy professional who can independently support senior leadership while driving key business management activities.
This role combines business consulting, operational support, and executive-level assistance, requiring strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage high-profile initiatives across functions.
The consultant serves as the first point of contact for day-to-day business queries, acts as a liaison among internal teams and leadership, and contributes to the execution of strategic and operational priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Management & Consulting
- Operate independently with strong, in-depth knowledge of the business unit, processes, and strategic priorities.
- Provide comprehensive and insightful consulting support to stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and leadership.
- Manage and execute activities that are large in scope, often cross-functional, and technically complex.
- Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of business policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Analyze operational data, identify gaps, and recommend process improvements or automation opportunities.
- Track and report progress on business initiatives, key metrics, projects, and transformation activities.
- Coordinate with related business areas, technology teams, committees, and senior management for seamless execution of initiatives.
Strategic & Operational Execution
- Balance day-to-day operational responsibilities with strategic business function development.
- Develop periodic goals, organize workstreams, set short-term priorities, and ensure timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Drive high-profile activities and projects involving senior stakeholders and, at times, external clients.
- Prepare business review materials, dashboards, analytical reports, and leadership presentations as required.
Executive / Personal Assistance
- Provide end-to-end administrative and executive support to senior leaders.
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, track commitments, and coordinate domestic/international travel.
- Handle confidential information with high integrity and discretion.
- Draft emails, prepare briefing notes, maintain follow-up trackers, and support time/workload management for leadership.
- Organize leadership meetings, town halls, agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Excellent oral and written communication with strong professional presence.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and execute with discipline in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with consistent accuracy in deliverables.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); exposure to automation/analytics tools is a plus (e.g., Power BI, Alteryx).
- Knowledge of financial services, asset management, and/or investment operations strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- High level of ownership, responsiveness, and stakeholder management.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree is an advantage.
- 4–6+ years of relevant experience in Business Management, Consulting, Operations, or Executive Support roles.
- Experience in financial industry operations, asset management, or investment operations is a strong plus.
- Exposure to business transformation, process improvement, or technology enhancement initiatives preferred.
- Prior experience supporting senior executives will be an added advantage.

- 24 months as a Technical Coordinator/Associate Consultant to move as a Team Leader/ Consultant.
- Movement within TL and Consultant is 12 months
