Tufts Medical Center and its Department of Psychiatry is currently seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to join the Consultation-Liaison and Emergency Department Psychiatry service at MelroseWakefield Hospital in Melrose, MA.
MelroseWakefield Hospital is a 234-bed not-for-profit community hospital located 12 miles north of Boston. Our mission is to provide excellent Psychiatric care to the community. Through our clinical affiliation with Tufts Medical Center, we are able to provide our patients with highly specialized and tertiary level care when it is appropriate.
This full-time position entails inpatient psychiatric consultations for our inpatient medical and surgical services and specialized outpatient psychiatric consultations. The C-L psychiatrist will work with the Division Chief of Consultation-Liaison and Psychiatric Emergency Services to provide high quality psychiatry consultations in a multidisciplinary team.
Who you are:
Completion of a psychiatry residency in an ACGME approved residency program
BC/BE in Adult psychiatry
BC/BE in C-L psychiatry or experience in C-L psychiatry
Both Transplant and Addiction psychiatry experience will be highly valued
Must have or obtain a medical license in the State of MA and have a valid DEA certificate
