This position reports to the Construction Manager and, in this role, the person will be accountable for all aspects of technology integration, influencing Program and Project Managers to strive for higher levels of technology adoption to drive down cost, improve schedule certainty, and enhance productivity, with a specific focus on the Off-Site Manufacturing (OSM) function. This is an onsite position working primarily from AZ, OR, or NM and integrating work across global sites.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Collaborate with Tool Install Central Engineering, Strategic Operation, and Manufacturing Solution teams to identify and integrate new technologies for global factory projects.
• Enhance productivity and achieve key metrics improvements (time savings, cost reduction).
• Achieve utilization rate of the newly integrated technologies by project teams.
• Conduct post-integration reviews for all technology deployments.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes.
• Work closely with the supply chain management, design teams and logistics to move construction scope to more efficient supplier-based or offsite fabrication facilities.
• This position requires a high degree of integration between design, supply chain, schedule and construction logistics as well as an understanding of current construction industry and best known methods (BKM's) in this developing arena.
• Make breakthroughs in our construction efficiency and capability through sourcing and developing contractor companies and making significant changes in integrated construction solutions and major changes in our cost of construction.
• Lead and drive program teams to leverage Prefabrication, Preassembly, Modularization, and Offsite Fabrication (PPMOF/OSM) means and methods including Intel and ROW (rest of world) solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field AND
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor or high-tech industry in project coordination, design support, engineering, construction, or equivalent roles demonstrating construction leadership and/or project management expertise.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with tool installation, design support, engineering, construction, or equivalent roles demonstrating construction leadership.
  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical field.
  • Knowledge and expertise in engineering of major facilities systems and infrastructure, BIM, Construction, Facilities, Fab Technology, Quality, Lean and Prefabrication experience.
  • PMP certification and Lean six sigma green belt.
  • Contract knowledge related to lump sum, guaranteed maximum price, design/build, and equipment installation contracts.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $118,150.00-166,800.00 USD
