Core Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight: Direct and manage the construction of comprehensive wet utility networks, including potable water, irrigation, firefighting, and sewerage systems.
Technical Leadership: Lead the resolution of technical site issues related to high-pressure pumping stations, deep trenching in rock, and gravity-fed networks common in mountainous regions.
Subcontractor Management: Oversee subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to the Master Schedule, project budget, and rigorous NEOM quality specifications.
Coordination: Integrate wet utility delivery with civil, structural, and environmental teams to ensure minimal impact on the sensitive mountain ecosystem of Trojena.
Commissioning: Manage the full lifecycle of utility assets from excavation and laying to pressure testing, commissioning, and final handover to the end operator.
HSE & Sustainability: Enforce an uncompromising culture of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and environmental sustainability in line with NEOM’s sustainability mandates.
Reporting: Deliver high-level progress reports and risk mitigation strategies to the Project Director and NEOM leadership.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 15 years in construction management for major infrastructure projects.
Subject Matter Expertise: Proven track record of managing massive Wet Utilities packages (Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, and Firewater).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Project History: Prior experience with Giga-projects in the Middle East (specifically Saudi Arabia) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Deep understanding of high-altitude logistics, pumping systems, and complex hydraulic networks.
Communication: Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams. Fluency in English is mandatory.
