- Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements, leading incident reviews and implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Champion innovation and continuous improvement, including technology adoption (telematics, CMMS systems, predictive maintenance tools) that demonstrably improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive experience managing heavy construction equipment and other mobile equipment fleets. (civil, highway, mining, aggregates, large farming equipment, OTR equipment or large‑scale general contracting experience preferred).
- Proven leadership ability overseeing maintenance teams in both shop and field environments.
- Strong technical expertise in diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, undercarriage components, and advanced diagnostic/repair practices.
- Experience with fleet management systems, telematics, and CMMS platforms, with ability to interpret data and drive action.
- Demonstrated financial acumen managing multimillion‑dollar budgets and improving fleet cost performance.
- Analytical, organized, and highly proficient with spreadsheets, data analysis, and performance trend evaluation.
