Job Description:

Parsons is now hiring for a Construction Engineering Intern/Program Delivery – Summer 2026 to support the Hudson Tunnel Program (Newark). What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assist project and construction engineers with coordination of day-to-day program delivery activities
  • Support preparation and review of project documents, including reports, presentations, and tracking logs
  • Help update and maintain schedules, quantity trackers, and other project monitoring tools in Excel
  • Participate in team meetings and help document action items, decisions, and progress updates
  • Conduct basic data checks, organize project files, and support adherence to project procedures and standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while also completing assigned tasks independently and on time

What Skills & Qualifications You'll Bring:

  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program such as:
    • Civil Engineering
    • Construction Engineering or Construction Management
    • Mechanical Engineering (with strong interest in infrastructure projects)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; familiarity with Outlook for email and scheduling
  • Strong time management, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative project team
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including basic technical or report writing
  • Interest in large-scale construction, infrastructure, and program delivery

Salary Range: $22.93 - $40.14
