Safety & Quality Management: Develop and update Project HSE Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITP). Conduct quality inspections and ensure subcontractor compliance with Air Liquide (AL) standards and industrial regulations (IMS).
Project Execution & Technical Support: Prepare constructability studies during the proposal phase. Review Construction Works Packages (CWP) and technical appendixes. Share construction expertise during engineering reviews to optimize plant design.
Site Supervision & Coordination: Supervise site staff and subcontractors. Lead regular progress meetings, resolve technical queries, and manage site documentation, including punch lists and as-built records.
Project Control & Reporting: Monitor site progress, manpower, and productivity. Manage site changes and extra works through formal change management procedures. Report transparently on safety, schedule, and cost-relevant issues to the Construction Manager.
Completion & Handover: Organize mechanical completion and ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities to the Commissioning Manager. Produce capitalization reports and "Kaizen" initiatives to enhance future competitiveness.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in construction supervision, site execution, or engineering/design within the industrial or science sector.
Skills: Strong knowledge of HSE policies, quality management systems, and subcontracting negotiation. Ability to manage site-integrated schedules and identify project risks/opportunities.
Languages: Native Japanese and Fluent English.
