As a Connection Planner at dentsu, you’ll go beyond channel planning designing how paid, owned, and earned touchpoints connect across the full consumer journey. Your role is to translate business and audience understanding into cohesive, cross-channel plans that actually work in-market.
 

You won’t just recommend platforms. You’ll define how channels work together, where they drive impact, and how performance is measured across the funnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop integrated media strategies that connect paid, owned, and earned channels across the full funnel.
  • Translate briefs into clear channel roles, audience flows, and connection frameworks, not just platform selections.
  • Build structured media plans across digital and offline touchpoints, ensuring cohesion and consistency.
  • Work closely with performance teams (Meta, Google, TikTok, programmatic) to align strategy with execution.
  • Analyze campaign and audience data to refine plans and strengthen cross-channel effectiveness.
  • Present recommendations with clarity, explaining not just what to do, but why it works.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (creative, CXM, media) to ensure ideas translate into connected execution.

A Bit About You

  • At least 2 years of experience in media/digital planning.
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok) and how they contribute across the funnel.
  • Exposure to integrated planning (beyond single-channel execution).
  • Able to connect data, audience insight, and channel roles into clear strategic thinking.
  • Comfortable working with data and turning it into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills; able to present ideas and influence stakeholders.
  • Curious, structured, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
