HybridYour mission starts here at Raytheon Australia! Right now, we are seeking a bright and energised Configuration Analyst within the Defence Support Services product line on the Woomera Test Range Support Services (WTRSS) Program.

The Woomera Test Range, located in South Australia, is the world’s largest overland test environment, comparable to the size of England, and is one of Australia’s most critical national security assets. Working within the Configuration Management Team you will contribute to the success of the WTRSS Program through providing specialty Configuration Analyst tasks on a variety of tools.
You will work closely with Engineering and Maintenance staff to manage configuration data, and to support the processing and incorporation of change activities and ensure they are accurately captured in the CSAS.
This position is located at Raytheon Australia’s new purpose-built Centre for Joint Integration (CJI) facility in Mawson Lakes, SA.
This role is responsible for:
Ensuring the As Maintained baseline is accurately captured and maintained in the Maintenance Management tool (EAGLE).
Managing the change process for deviations, modifications and special technical instructions to ensure timely and accurate implementation of these changes.
Supporting engineering and maintenance activities with a sound knowledge of processes and procedures
Maintaining configuration/engineering management systems for sustainment activities
Liaising with team members (engineering & maintenance) to ensure tool and data integrity is maintained.
Providing support to the CM/DM Lead as required.
The following skills, experience and qualifications are considered Essential:
Experience within a configuration management and/or technical domain within Defence or related industries.
A certificate in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience
Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a Negative Vetting 1 Australian Defence Security Clearance. Information on eligibility can be found at http://www.defence.gov.au/agsva
The following are considered Desirable:
Familiarity with configuration/engineering management systems such as EAGLE or Windchill.
Certified as International Configuration Manager by International Society of Configuration Management, or equivalent.
Understanding of Export Controlled data and supporting processes.
Knowledge of change management / product structure management within the Defence environment or equivalent
