Concrete Carpenter (Stripping focus)

Keeley Construction is seeking an experienced Concrete Carpenter to join our construction team, with a strong emphasis on striping expertise.

Job Responsibilities

Striping (Primary Focus):

• Heavily emphasize striping experience—this is a core requirement for the role.
• Operate a striping machine to complete high‑quality striping projects safely and efficiently.
• Perform new layout for parking lots, roadways, and other concrete/asphalt areas.
• Execute efficient restriping with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Assist with planning and organizing striping work to meet project timelines.

Concrete Carpentry Support:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and materials needed for concrete formwork.
• Build, erect, install, and repair concrete forms and structures using wood, metal, or other materials.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, or other materials to create precise formwork for concrete pouring.
• Construct and set forms for foundations, walls, columns, stairs, and other concrete structures.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and bracing of forms to meet specifications and ensure stability.
• Install expansion joints and embedded items in concrete structures as specified.
• Strip and dismantle formwork after concrete has sufficiently cured.
• Maintain and care for equipment, tools, and materials used in concrete carpentry and striping work.
• Check completed formwork for quality, stability, and compliance with specifications.
• Apply curing compounds or perform additional concrete finishing tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in concrete formwork and carpentry.
• Demonstrated striping experience, including operating striping machines, performing layout, and restriping.
• Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
• Experience with various forming systems (traditional wood forms, modular systems, etc.).
• Proficiency with carpentry tools and equipment specific to concrete work.
• Strong understanding of concrete properties and curing requirements.
• Knowledge of proper forming techniques for various concrete elements.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and precision.
