Responsibilities:
A Cashier is responsible for timely, efficient, and accurate cash and credit card transactions and reporting. Cashier will also be responsible for setting-up, maintaining and cleaning their workstation.
• Prepare simple menu items and set up and clean up stand.
• Sell items, collect payment, process vouchers, gift cards, and other forms of tender and make correct change.
• Interact with customers in English order to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
• Carefully enter all sales into my venue following all PCI requirements for credit cards to ensure that all purchases are accurately recorded.
• Provide quick, efficient, accurate and friendly service to all guests.
• Verify I.D. on all customers ordering alcohol on every transaction.
• Suggestively sell and up sell items on every transaction
• Maintain a clean, neat and safe work area.
• Interact with co-workers in order to ensure compliance with company service standards, company inventory, PCI credit card and cash control procedures.
• Ability to perform arithmetic operation involving all United States monetary units (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Perform opening duties which includes setting items for food service, assembling items, stocking cases of beverage product, and filling ice wells with bags of ice, building popcorn buckets, adding toppings or condiments.
• Perform closing duties including clean up, product storage, spoilage logs, wiping counters, sweeping under cabinets, mopping, cleaning service items and trash removal. Restocking products for the next event.
Qualifications:
• All applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to interact with co-workers positively in order to assure compliance with company service standards.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, high volume, team orientated setting.
• Must be able to work fluently in English to service the guests, and service all guests with speed, accuracy to create a positive guest experience.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing 10-30 pounds, occasionally 50 pounds.
• Ability to work all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays. Entry time is 2-3 hours prior to event start time and ending prior to midnight.
• Must have sufficient mobility to perform assigned production tasks including constant standing for long periods of time at the register and reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, lifting, restocking and carrying cases of beverage and water for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in an environment with an ignition source. Must be able to twist open cans and bottles for alcohol service as this is done repetitively during guest service. Must be able to hear guests' orders and communicate with guests.
This is a loud environment with constant music, announcers, and pyrotechnics, guests cheering all going on in the background during service.
• Must meet state and local health requirements for food handlers and alcoholic beverage services. Must be able to pass the TEAMS Alcohol Certification class and test to work.
Able to use our scheduling application for availability and confirmation of shits. Must have access to a working email.
We have the expectations all employees will practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations, complete company-wide safety training and any additional job specific safety training.
This is a tip pooling position within the facility per the Union Contract.
This is a Union role and follows by the Union CBA and scheduling is done in seniority order.
This Part time Seasonal role will be open internally for 5 days till the 13th to qualified union members. If needed it will then post externally until multiple roles filled.
