What you’ll do at Elekta 

Your team is part of an international program that consists of a diverse group of specialists in medical imaging, physics, embedded software, advanced algorithms, mechanical engineering, electronics, and more. We are an international organization and you will interact with people located at other sites and in different countries. 

Responsibilities 

You’ll be working as a software engineer in a team responsible end-to-end for selecting hardware and developing low-level software and complex algorithms for a part of our radiotherapy solutions. You will be contributing to the SW design, implementation and testing, as well as to other areas the team is responsible for. Your team is part of an agile program, working according to SAFe.

What you bring 

We believe you have: 

  • A master’s degree in engineering physics, electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent 

  • Solid experience working as a software engineer in C++ 

  • Experience with 3D reconstruction, registration or classical computer vision algorithms and technologies 

  • Broad and genuine interest in technology 

It is meriting if you have   

  • Interest in software design and architecture 

  • Experience of working in MedTech or some other regulated industry

Note that the position is office-based with a requirement of at least four days per week in the Stockholm office.
