Northrop Grumman has an opening for a Computer Systems Analyst in our Linthicum, MD site.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Develops computer systems specifications that address business requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards.

  • Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities.

  • Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have, at minimum, a relevant Masters degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 6 years of relevant experience

  • Must have an understanding of basic operating systems configuration requirements

  • Must have an understanding of software evaluation methods and practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing software evaluations to meet compliance with a governing standard (e.g., RMF, CMMC, etc.)

  • Current DoD Secret Security Clearance

  • Current DoD 8570 IAM level I (or higher) security certification (e.g., CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE)

  • Experience configuring operating systems in a virtual environment

  • Ability to work on a cross-functional team with team members spanning different time zones

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
