The Boeing Company’s Information Digital Technology & Security (IDT&S) Engineering is currently seeking a Computed Assisted Design, Manufacturing, and Automation Senior Manager to join the team in North Charleston, SC.

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our CATIA/ENOVIA, DELMIA, and factory automation product teams. This leader will also serve as the main Information Technology (IT) partner to the corresponding engineering functions and be responsible for our joint digital strategy and roadmaps. The strong candidate will have Engineering domain knowledge in Engineering Design, Manufacturing build, CAD/CAM, and Process planning experience with software development, implementation and sustainment. The leader will have a demonstrated ability to lead a global team and partner effectively with engineering; and a vision on how to modernize our engineering value stream.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the CATIA/ENOVIA, DELMIA and Factory Automation products, which include both IT-managed and Engineering-managed software; manage performance to plan, financial performance, risk, and strategy

  • Lead a global team who serves a global user base, championing the Boeing Values, and developing employees

  • Partner with suppliers (e.g. commercial software vendors or cloud service providers) to develop and deliver competitive solutions to our engineering teams

  • Partner with infrastructure services organizations inside and external to Boeing to support large product environment.

  • Develop future vision for domain in an IT-Engineering partnership

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams and direct reports

  • 5+ years of experience working with digital engineering tools and software development methodologies (e.g. agile, DevSecOps)

  • 3+ years of experience leading through influence and partnering with cross-functional teams on projects, transactions or initiatives

  • 3+ years of experience with technical support of 787 design and manufacturing systems (CAD/CAM, ENOVIA, Interfaces to connected systems)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field

  • Experience with design and production engineering.

  • Experience with engineering processes and regulatory requirements

  • Experience delivering digital solutions with IDT&S and Engineering functions

  • Experience leading global teams

  • Experience in Product Management

  • Experience in software development, with an understanding of modern development practices, programming languages, and tools

  • Experience with commercial engineering software products and industry trends

  • Experience partnering with commercial software vendors

  • Experience establishing and implementing a strategic vision

Summary pay range: $161,500 – $218,500
