HPE Compute is looking for a Compute Sales Specialist

We are now looking for our next colleague. In the role as Compute Sales Specialist, you are responsible for leading the pursuit for Compute business. You are specialized on the compute products, solutions, services and software portfolio.

You will collaborate with and support Account Managers, provide compute expertise within the sales team and to assigned customers. Drive proactive sales, use your specialized knowledge and skills to prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities.

Main responsibilities

  • Responsible for sales of Compute products and solutions in assigned accounts.

  • Seeks out new opportunities through prospecting, industry networking and events.

  • Create and drive Compute business pipeline and opportunities.

  • Drives the Compute sales process, contributes to proposal development in collaboration with Presales, lead negotiations and deal closings.

  • Negotiates and drives profitable deals to ensure successful closure and a high win rate.

  • Works closely with the Account Manager, providing technical expertise and support.

  • Effectively uses internal sales tools to maintain a healthy pipeline and the account plan in a timely fashion.

  • Collaborates across the HPE teams to deliver a consistent approach to developing business, including account planning for end-to-end solutions.

  • Directs and coordinates supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through account managers, Presales, channel partners and other relevant stakeholders

  • Focuses on and works with the channel to forge relationships, provide enablement of key technologies, and co-sell to end-users.

  • Reinforces and articulates HPE's strategy and portfolio to partners and champions to uncover new business opportunities and contacts, including new logos.

  • Effectively uses references to craft a story that makes complex technologies seem simple and understandable for the customers.

  • Actively generates customer interest and understands the customer's buying trends. Links business and financial benefits with technology offerings. Illustrates the ROI & TCO advantages of HPE offerings for the customer's business.

  • Contributes to development of quota objectives and future direction for Compute portfolio.

Skills Requirements

  • Understanding Compute / Servers products, services and software offerings.

  • Understand the competition and differentiate presenting HPE’s unique values.

  • Understands the industry and market segment in which key accounts are situated and integrates this knowledge into consultative selling.

  • Business planning skills, multi-dimensional.

  • Experienced with working with channel partners and/or end-users

About You

  • University or bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Typically, 5-10+ years of Sales experience.

  • Compute/server related sales experience strongly desired.

  • Ability to interface with diverse business customers.

  • Enjoy meeting and connecting with new people.

  • Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota.

  • Proactively striving for improvements and willingness to continues learning.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Agile and adaptive to changes.

  • Team player with ability to work independently

  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
