Compounding Manager – Old Toongabbie

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence?

We have a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Compounding Operations as the Compounding Manager, overseeing our Old Toongabbie site.

In this pivotal role you will lead and inspire a large team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration and ensure smooth production operations while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and compliance.

In this role you will build and manage strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders along with driving continuous improvement initiatives, problem-solve effectively, and implement process refinements to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • People leadership across the facility

  • Providing leadership development, coaching and motivation to all team members

  • Strategic workforce planning, including resourcing

  • Oversight of training and development plans for all team members

  • Oversight of implementation of EHS policies and procedures

  • Budget management

  • Driving Process and productivity improvement at the site

  • Ensure quality standards and procedures are being maintained

  • Oversight of Quality incidents and investigations

  • Management of customer relationships

  • Point of escalation for all matters pertaining to the site


 

Key Requirements of the role include:

  • Pharmacy Degree, Science Degree or approved equivalent qualification

  • Lean Manufacturing

  • Leadership and Management skills

  • Production/Operations/Manufacturing experience

  • Problem Solving Skills

  • Sound business acumen

  • Sound decision making skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal/external customers

  • Negotiation skills

Desirable Skills and Qualifications

  • Experience in aseptic compounding

  • Knowledge of the Code of Good Manufacturing Practice

  • Kiezen/Automation
