The Procurement team at Marvell plays a critical role in ensuring the company’s operational efficiency and cost competitiveness. This team is responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers for materials, components, and services that power Marvell’s semiconductor solutions. By negotiating strategic contracts, optimizing supply chains, and mitigating risks, the Procurement team helps secure reliable, high-quality resources at the best value.

The teams work directly influences product development timelines, cost structures, and overall profitability. Through strong supplier partnerships and proactive risk management, the team enables Marvell to maintain agility in a dynamic market, support innovation, and deliver cutting-edge technology to customers worldwide.

What You Can Expect

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field required
  • 5+ years of procurement experience in semiconductor manufacturing
  • Experience with global supplier management and working in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

What You Can Expect

  • Plan and purchase material requirements to ensure uninterrupted material flow for ongoing production and new product introductions (NPI).
  • Maintain accurate purchasing records in ERP systems and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor, identify, and resolve production material shortages and supply constraints.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers.
  • Place purchase orders and closely follow up with contract manufacturers (CMs) to support sales demand and fulfillment.
  • Monitor CM production schedules and proactively address risks impacting material availability.
  • Accurately enter purchase transactions and collect historical and current data for analysis and reporting.
  • Drive cost‑reduction initiatives through volume leverage, process improvements, and strategic negotiations.
  • Monitor market trends and implement strategies to mitigate cost volatility and supply risk.
  • Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
