Compliance Specialist, Professional Development

We’re looking for a Compliance Specialist, Professional Development to join our Central Compliance team at MBPS. In this role, you will support professional development initiatives and compliance training governance, oversight, and audit-readiness. The role helps ensure learning programs are effective, strategically aligned, and supported by strong documentation, reporting, and controls that meet internal standards and regulatory expectations. This position combines learning design and implementation activities with training oversight, reporting, and assurance responsibilities, requiring strong organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to operate within a globally governed environment.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and support learning programs and initiatives addressing professional development needs

  • Curate and maintain online learning content aligned with the global learning strategy

  • Facilitate discussions or sessions in Compliance New Hire Training and related programs

  • Conduct learning needs analyses to inform program design and enhancements

  • Monitor, measure, and evaluate the effectiveness of professional development initiatives

  • Maintain and update the Professional Development dashboard for management reporting

  • Manage training schedules and program timelines to ensure alignment with business and learner needs

  • Track and record learning participation using designated learning systems and tools (e.g., Pursuit, Compass)

  • Maintain and enhance the Compliance Training Audit Readiness Framework, including governance artifacts, policies, standards, procedures, and evidence repositories

  • Support regulatory examinations, internal audits, and assurance reviews by coordinating documentation, data extracts, and standardized responses

  • Perform periodic training governance and readiness health checks (e.g., documentation completeness, version control, approval tracking) aligned with global standards

  • Track, document, and follow up on remediation actions arising from audits, reviews, and validations

  • Produce accurate and timely compliance training reports for senior management, oversight forums, and stakeholders

  • Perform trend, exception, and issue analysis related to training completion, overdue items, and recurring issues

  • Ensure consistency, traceability, and alignment across data sources, reports, and governance artifacts

  • Support quarterly and annual validation activities, including documentation reviews, exception log management, and evidence testing

  • Maintain standardized templates, control inventories, trackers, and reporting tools to support scalable training oversight

  • Participate in ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives as assigned

 Required Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience either in learning & development, compliance trainings, training operations, or a related field.

  • College/University Degree and/or equivalent experience in Education, Human Resources, Legal, Finance, Business, Communication or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediate to Advanced user experience on Instructor-Led and/or eLearning authoring or development tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Articulate Storyline 360, and LMS platforms

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and strong documentation discipline

  • Familiar with Adult Learning principles and methodologies

  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams and levels

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)

  • Working knowledge of learning, training operations, or governance frameworks
