Job Summary: The incumbent serves as a Compliance Oversight Advisor in the Air Traffic Safety Standards Oversight Division of the Air Traffic Safety Oversight Service (AOV). The incumbent is responsible for evaluating the impact of proposed changes in procedures, equipment, and technologies within the National Airspace System (NAS).

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized Experience: Experience evaluating the proposed changes in procedures, equipment, and technologies within the National Airspace System (NAS). Experience providing advice on safety oversight issues such as risk assessments, technical reviews and safety assurance documents. Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history. All qualification requirements shall be posted on the vacancy announcements at the time the announcement is made.
