We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Officer to take ownership of regulatory and licensing obligations across all jurisdictions where Superbet operates, with a strong focus on the Greek i-gaming market. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational integrity.

What you will be doing :

  • Oversee all compliance activities across existing and target jurisdictions, with primary responsibility for maintaining the Greek i-gaming license and ensuring ongoing regulatory compliance.
  • Lead compliance projects, risk assessments, audits, monitoring programs, and internal control oversight.
  • Translate multi-jurisdictional regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure the organization meets all legislative, regulatory, and licensing obligations, implementing effective risk-mitigation and control measures - especially in Greece.
  • Continuously monitor, assess, and interpret regulatory developments, particularly within the Greek regulatory ecosystem, and identify areas requiring updates or remediation.
  • Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current policies and processes; recommend, draft, and implement improvements in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Provide day-to-day compliance advice and operational support to business units.
  • Manage all regulatory interactions, including inspections, audits, and reporting obligations, with emphasis on communications with the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
  • Provide independent compliance support during due-diligence reviews for partners, suppliers, and potential acquisitions.
  • Support the ongoing development and enhancement of the Responsible Gaming Program, ensuring alignment with Greek and other market-specific requirements.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance documentation, records, and reporting.
  • Ensure consistent adherence to internal policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners, suppliers, and regulators.

We are looking for someone who

  • Has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Has minimum 3 - 4 years’ experience in a similar compliance management role, ideally within the i-gaming sector.
  • Has a strong understanding of compliance frameworks, obligations, and regulatory dynamics across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Has a proven experience with Greek licensing processes and ongoing compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrates strong research capabilities, especially regarding emerging markets and evolving regulations.
  • Demonstrated project-management experience, including leading cross-functional compliance initiatives.
  • Is able to develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Is fluent both in written and spoken Greek and English.
  • Has exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and efficient time-management.
  • Is proactive, curious, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Has strong knowledge of gambling regulations, including AML/CTF, Responsible Gaming, and data-protection frameworks.
  • Is able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
