Here’s what you can look forward to:

As a Compliance Manager (m/f/d), you play a key role in strengthening and further developing the compliance framework across the MB Energy Group. Working closely with the Compliance Officer, you act as an important interface between business units, management, and international stakeholders, ensuring that regulatory requirements and internal standards are effectively implemented across the organization.

In this role, you contribute to building a strong compliance culture by supporting strategic initiatives, driving continuous improvement of compliance processes, and ensuring that the organization operates in line with applicable laws and ethical standards. You will work in an international environment, helping to safeguard the integrity and sustainability of MB Energy’s global operations.

Your tasks in a nutshell:

  • Compliance Management System: You support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Group-wide compliance management system across national and international entities.

  • Risk & Monitoring: You monitor and further develop compliance risk assessments and mitigation strategies to ensure effective risk management.

  • Training & Awareness: You design and deliver compliance training, presentations, and communication initiatives to strengthen awareness across the organization.

  • Due Diligence & Investigations: You conduct KYC checks, review compliance-related reports and inquiries, and support the handling of potential compliance concerns.

  • Regulatory Topics: You take responsibility for key compliance areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, and Anti-Trust Law, providing guidance to internal stakeholders.

  • Compliance Projects: You initiate and lead compliance-related projects, including the integration of compliance processes into IT-supported workflows.

What helps you to fulfill this role:

  • Education: A completed degree in law, business administration, finance, engineering, or a comparable field, ideally combined with relevant professional experience in compliance or a related function.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Sound knowledge of key compliance areas such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions, Anti-Trust Law, CSRD, and supply chain due diligence (e.g. LKSG).

  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical capabilities with a structured and pragmatic approach to solving complex regulatory topics.

  • Project Experience: Experience managing projects, ideally in an international or cross-functional environment.

  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with IT systems, internal controls, or accounting systems is an advantage.

  • Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
