Compliance Coordinator

We are seeking a Compliance Coordinator to join our Compliance and Risk Investigations & Analysis team. This role primarily supports the accurate and timely manual preparation and filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STRs) based on completed investigations, as well as data entry, quality checks, and metric tracking.
This is an execution focused role best suited for candidates who excel at attention to detail, process adherence, and meeting strict regulatory deadlines.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manually prepare, populate, and file SAR and/or STR forms based on investigation outputs and established templates
• Ensure all regulatory reports are completed accurately, consistently, and within required deadlines
• Perform data entry and validation across multiple compliance systems and regulatory portals
• Follow documented procedures and escalation paths; flag data gaps or inconsistencies for review
• Collaborate with investigators and senior team members to clarify information needed for filings

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience
• 1–2 years of experience in compliance operations, financial services, or high‐volume data entry roles
• High proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Ability to manage repetitive, detail‐oriented tasks with a high degree of accuracy
• Proven ability to meet strict deadlines
• Experience working in a financial institution or FinTech environment (preferred)
• Familiarity with FinCEN, FINTRAC, or similar regulatory bodies (preferred)

Pay Transparency Statement

Convera is committed to pay transparency and equity in accordance with applicable U.S. state and local laws. For this position, the expected base salary range is [$50,000 - $58,000] per year, depending on factors such as experience, qualifications, and geographic location. We use a tiered geographic pay system to ensure fairness across regions. Candidates in high-cost areas may receive higher offers within the posted range.
