How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Safeguard the integrity of the procurement function following the strategic migration of transactional activities to the outsourced partner (Business Service Center).
Govern the end-to-end process, ensuring strict adherence to the Air Liquide Internal Control Manual (ICM) and Group Procedures. Act as the central control point between Internal Stakeholders, the Outsourced Partner, and Procurement systems, shifting focus from data entry to process governance, risk mitigation, and performance auditing.

Accountabilities & related Activities

1. Compliance Framework & Audit Leadership

  • Procedure Governance: Responsible for lifecycle management (creation, updating, enforcement) of Procurement Procedures aligned with Group standards.

  • Audit Management: Serve as functional lead for internal/external audits; manage preparation, data retrieval, and process explanation.

  • Post-Audit Actions: Drive closure of actions and ensure robust resolution of Non-Conformities (NCs).

  • Internal Control Reviews: Perform Bi-Annual Contract Reviews to validate consistency between ERP Payment Terms and signed contracts. Oversee "One Time Vendor" validation process.

  • 2. Data Integrity & System Hygiene 

    • Master Data Coordination: Lead coordination between Shared Services, Category Managers, and BSC regarding Contracts, Catalogs, and Supplier Data.

    • System Cleanup: Execute Annual System Cleanup for dormant suppliers and POs inactive for >3 years.

    • Data Validation: Validate integrity of procurement data uploaded to reporting tools (DPS, Power BI).

    • Open PO Management: Manage recurring PO closure exercise; validate and record justifications for PO "re-opening".

    3. Process Performance & Issue Resolution

    • P2P Issue Governance: Act as resolution authority for systemic P2P issues (GRN reception, Invoice processing impediments).

    • IT Interface Management: Analyze monthly PO interface failures. Raise IT tickets, track progress, and conduct UAT for fixes.

    • Process Improvement: Analyze performance data to propose process improvements reducing cycle time.

    4. Performance Monitoring

    • Buyer Performance Review: Audit completeness of Savings Sheets and Delivery Trackers. Monitor Non-Conformance (NC) closure rates.

    • Backlog Management: Generate daily reports to monitor PR and Invoice backlogs against SLAs.

    • Monthly Dashboarding: Produce holistic Monthly Dashboard capturing metrics across BSC, Category Management, Shared Services, and Audit compliance.

    5. Capability Building

    • Stakeholder Training: Design and deliver training programs for Users and Suppliers regarding procurement tools, compliance policies, and new workflows.

  • Internal Control & Audit: Understanding of Internal Control Manuals (ICM) and audit processes.

  • Process Governance: Ability to manage end-to-end P2P governance.

  • Data & System Hygiene: Experience with Master Data management and system cleanups.

  • IT Interface Management: Ability to diagnose systemic errors and manage IT tickets/UAT.

  • ERP Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) regarding POs, GRNs, and Invoicing.

Complementary Capabilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Managing relationships with outsourced partners and internal business users.

  • Analytical Skills: Root cause analysis for systemic issues.

  • Training & Development: Ability to train users and suppliers on tools/policies.
