COMPLIANCE & SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER
We are looking for a structured and solution-oriented Compliance & Sustainability Manager to join our team, reporting to the Head of Compliance & Sustainability.
Muuto operates globally with diverse regional product requirements and legislation, complemented by our own high standards for quality, sustainability, and health and safety to ensure long lasting, responsible products. As part of the Compliance & Sustainability team, you will work with the regulations, certifications, documentation and data that form the foundation of our product and sustainability efforts.
As Compliance & Sustainability Manager, you will ensure Muuto’s compliance across products and the value chain while also leading initiatives that advance our business and strengthen our compliance and sustainability position You will be part of the daily operations connected to the existing product range, the development of new products and sustainability projects.
Your responsibilities
Ensure product compliance across development and running range together with Product Development and Supply Chain.
Monitor, investigate, and implement new legal and industry requirements.
Maintain compliance documentation, data, policies, and procedures.
Support Sales with customer compliance and sustainability requests.
Train employees in key compliance and sustainability areas.
Secure and maintain product certifications (e.g., VOC, GreenTag, EU Ecolabel, Declare).
Create carbon footprint screenings and Muuto’s annual GHG report.
Collaborate across the organization to drive progress and meet GHG reduction targets.
Your profile
Ideally minimum 5 years of experience from working with product compliance and sustainability, paired with relevant degree within engineering, environmental sciences, sustainability, or a related field.
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders across all levels.
Ability to assess and transfer written standards, regulations and requirements for product compliance into practical implementation that enables our strategy.
Detail-oriented, structured, pro-active and solution-oriented approach to your work.
Ability to work in an agile work environment with a diverse set of tasks and stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills and a basic technical understanding.
Fluent in English and Danish (oral and written).
