Fixed Term Contract - 6 months
The Compliance Analyst supports day-to-day compliance monitoring activities at Cboe Europe. In this role you report to the Cboe NL Head of Compliance. This is a temporary position covering maternity leave.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute the Compliance Monitoring Programme, taking into consideration regulatory requirements, any recent regulatory pronouncements, anticipated regulatory change, operational risk events, Internal Audit comments, recent business changes and strategic initiatives.
- Escalate compliance queries and support senior compliance staff in providing guidance to the business on compliance matters for ongoing operations and for new business initiatives.
- Support production of reports for Boards and committees including drafting monitoring summaries and exception reports.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of the current NL and EU regulatory regime with an emphasis on MiFID/MiFIR and Digital Operational Resilience Act.
- Experience of working in a compliance department or in a related role in an exchange or investment firm or a demonstrated interest in financial regulation.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- A proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well in a team environment, both within the Compliance team and with other stakeholders in the company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity about trading techniques and technology; prior exposure is a plus.
