We are looking for a Part Time - 4 days per week, Complex Manager.

As a Bunnings Complex Manager, you will be responsible for the ongoing daily operations, sales and high-volume stock management within your store. Reporting directly to the Regional Manager you and your team of 120+ will be efficient, organized and be the go-to for location for our loyal customers and internal sales teams. In the team you will be supported by experienced Operations Managers, Department Managers and their respective teams of Supervisors, Team Members and Forklift Drivers whilst it is also encouraged to engage with local stores and Trade Centres to contribute to the success of the wider area group.

Within your leadership team you will have experienced Operations and Department Managers focused on such departments as Goods Inwards, Service, Inside the Home, Builders, Timber Yard and Lifestyles & Garden – though a knowledge of all is not required an interest in DIY/Building industry is recommended.

Your role will help drive the future Bunnings Warehouse in your community, by developing local strategies and business plans that support the overall long-term growth of your Warehouse. You will be required to monitor and measure customer service levels, liaise with the Commercial Sales teams, Distribution Centres, Fulfilment Centres and Bunnings Support Office to manager your warehouses stock levels, sales capabilities, Health & Safety procedures, and products & services that drive sales and increase greater knowledge for Best Experience whilst also ensuring our efficiency and effectiveness.

This role includes a minimum of 1 in 3 weekend roster and some public holiday work is required.

What’s involved:

  • Foster a high‑performing leadership team by building capability through supportive coaching, clear alignment, and ongoing, constructive performance conversations
  • Build a culture of recognition, accountability and development that drives engagement and retention.
  • Take a proactive approach to safety and wellbeing in the warehouse by supporting injury management, maintaining compliance, and providing ongoing safety coaching
  • Hold full accountability for warehouse EBIT performance including sales growth, margin optimisation, wage control and cost management.
  • Identify commercial opportunities and implement actions to drive sales and growth
  • Lead strong stock loss performance by reducing shrink, delivering accurate stocktakes, and ensuring inventory integrity across the warehouse.
  • Engage the local community, and identify opportunities for community events and projects 

Who we're looking for: 

As a Complex Manager for Bunnings, you will be a highly driven individual with strong leadership and influencing skills. Previous experience in leading large teams with a focus on Safety and Wellbeing and Specialist products is preferred with the ability to develop teams and provide a healthy environment in which to work in. You must be able to wear many hats, influence multiple stakeholders and understand KPI’s and exceeding customer expectations.
