You’ll make thoughtful recommendations on commercial and legal decisions, draft a variety of legal documents and correspondence, and contribute to our culture of doing the right thing. Compliance with SRA regulations and industry best practice will be second nature to you, and you’ll always keep the client at the heart of everything you do through your mindset and behaviours.
What we are looking for:
Solid technical knowledge of consumer credit and collections, with an understanding of SRA codes of conduct and FCA rules.
Proactive case management skills, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
Strong problem-solving ability, using creativity to resolve disputes and deliver practical solutions.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear, accurate legal documentation.
Confident communicator who can build relationships and collaborate across all levels and functions.
IT proficiency and relevant experience, including Microsoft Office skills, GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English, and ideally exposure to consumer litigation or legal collections environments.
Studying towards or having achieved a Law degree, ILEX, LPC, or BPTC is desirable—but if you’re excited about this role and don’t meet every requirement, don’t worry. We’d still love to hear from you because your unique perspective could be just what we’re looking for.
What you’ll get:
A discretionary annual bonus to reward your impact
3% flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your lifestyle, whether that’s extra cash, more holiday, or added health cover.
Hybrid working for the best of both worlds—collaboration and focus.
Free onsite parking, saving you time and money.
Recharge and refresh opportunities with 28 days of holiday plus public holidays, and the option to buy up to five more—giving you more time for what matters most.
Peace of mind with life assurance that supports your loved ones, no matter what.
A culture that celebrates you and supports your wellbeing – with recognition awards, access to on-site gym facilities, and a variety of wellbeing initiatives offered throughout the year to help you stay balanced, resilient and feeling your best.
