Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and high-agency Competitive Strategist to join our Digital Business Unit (DBU). In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and positioning against a defined set of competitors to shape the narrative for our priority products and services.
In this role, you will:
Develop and communicate actionable competitive strategies by filtering raw data from the Center of Excellence (COE) into "McKinsey-style" executive reports and "Why We Win" sales narratives.
Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to pressure-test findings, provide independent points of view on market movements, and triage high-value deals for tactical seller support.
Manage proprietary intelligence frameworks and communication channels, including updating the competitor threat scoring framework quarterly and curating the internal Competitor Watch chat and newsletter.
The ideal candidate will have:
5–8 years of experience in Competitive Intelligence, Management Consulting, or Product Marketing within the Business-to-Business (B2B) Software as a Service (SaaS) or enterprise software industry.
Strong knowledge of analytical frameworks and data tools, including the ability to conduct "bottom-up" financial analyses and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools for research.
Proven ability in executive-level storytelling and slide design, with a focus on visual hierarchy, detail-oriented formatting, and bilingual proficiency in English.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, while a Master of Business Administration (MBA) would be a Nice to Have.
Location: Remote (Colombia or Mexico).
