First Shift (United States of America)

Compensation Manager

This is not a maintenance role—it’s a build, evolve, and lead opportunity. As Manager of Compensation, you will take ownership of a large, complex compensation function at a pivotal moment, shaping strategy, structure, and programs that directly impact how we compete for and retain top talent. You’ll partner closely with senior leaders to modernize and scale compensation practices—from base and incentive design to market intelligence and workforce modeling—bringing both strategic vision and hands-on execution. We’re looking for a leader who thrives in ambiguity, can prioritize across competing demands, and is energized by rolling up their sleeves to drive meaningful, enterprise-wide impact.

In your first 6–12 months, success will look like establishing credibility with key stakeholders, bringing structure and clarity to compensation programs and processes, and delivering measurable progress on priority initiatives. If you’re energized by leading through change and delivering enterprise-wide impact, this is a unique opportunity to make your mark at Nebraska Medicine.
