Are you passionate about ensuring roles are evaluated with precision, consistency, and fairness? Do you thrive at the intersection of analytics, strategy, and organizational design? We’re looking for a Compensation & Job Evaluation Specialist to support how roles are evaluated, classified, and managed within established compensation practices across the organization.

Using your expertise in the Korn Ferry Hay Job Evaluation Methodology, you’ll support sound decision‑making and help maintain trust, fairness, and consistency in how roles are evaluated and administered.

Your responsibilities:

  • Deliver well-supported classification recommendations with clear, defensible rationales.

  • Evaluate impacts of organizational changes, including cascading effects across roles.

  • Strengthen governance practices to ensure consistency and integrity in job evaluation.

Strategic Compensation

  • Support the ongoing application and maintenance of salary structures, pay bands, and job architecture.

  • Contribute to transparent, equitable compensation frameworks aligned with organizational and government guidelines.

  • Perform modeling and scenario analysis to inform compensation decisions.

  • Build dashboards and reports that inform leadership decisions.

  • Translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights.

Advisory Support & Partnership

  • Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and HR partners on job evaluation, classification, and compensation.

  • Provide guidance on pay decisions and job design.

  • Communicate decisions clearly through well-crafted documentation and rationale.

Strengthen Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with legislation, collective agreements, and compensation frameworks.

  • Support audits, appeals, and classification reviews.

  • Contribute to modernization of job evaluation and compensation practices.

  • Develop tools and training to enhance organizational capability.

  • Develop and maintain governance processes and guidelines to support compensation administration, transparency and fairness, informed by best‑practice research.

Your experience and skills:

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Four to six years of progressive experience in compensation and job evaluation.

  • Professional designations such as Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) are an asset.

  • Strong expertise in job evaluation methodologies. Korn Ferry/Hay experience is a major asset.
