Rite-Hite is seeking a Compensation Analyst II to help support the design, implementation, and administration of our compensation programs. In this role, you will help conduct market analyses, develop pay structures, and manage job evaluations. You will play a key role in providing analytical support for compensation-related projects.

  • Conduct and participate in compensation surveys; analyze market and internal pay data to support pay range development and job pricing. Identify trends and partner with Compensation Manager to recommend adjustments.
  • Benchmark new and existing positions to determine competitive market rate and support competitive and equitable pay decisions.
  • Support job documentation and evaluation processes, ensuring alignment with internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Assist with the maintenance and updates of job architecture, pay structures, and compensation guidelines to reflect market movement and organizational needs.
  • Support annual compensation processes such as annual market reviews, internal merit process, etc.
  • Maintain compensation data integrity within HRIS systems; generate reports and dashboards to monitor compensation trends and analytics.
  • Provide analysis and insights on compensation metrics, pay equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Prepare reports for HR and business leadership to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations (FLSA, pay transparency, etc.) in all compensation practices.
  • Support internal pay equity reviews and audit processes.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition to provide guidance on job offers, promotions, pay adjustments and relocation packages.
  • Audit allowance plans to ensure accuracy.
  • Support compensation communications, education, and change management efforts.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field required.
  • 2+ years of compensation experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with compensation surveys (e.g., Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Radford, or industry-specific sources).
  • Working knowledge of HRIS and analytics tools (Preferably Workday).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills required

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to translate data into insights.
  • Understanding of job evaluation methods and FLSA classifications.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting multi-location, multi-state, &/or international compensation programs.
  • Experience supporting sales compensation programs.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion, the employee may be required to stoop, bend, or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
