So let's talk about the role...

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for the administration of Compensation programs and processes. The Compensation Analyst is seen as a subject matter resource, conducting research, providing guidance, and administering a variety of programs and processes that drive compensation structure and effectiveness. This role requires a breadth of Compensation and Human Resources knowledge with a keen ability to analyze and report HR data.

Here's more of what you will do... (Okay, not all in one day!)

Compensation Administration

  • Supports the development, implementation and administration of Compensation programs and processes.
  • Participates in salary surveys and analyzes results to determine organization’s market relationship.
  • Participates in market analysis for modeling and data analysis to support decisions in adjusting ranges, budgeting, and internal equity.
  • Compares jobs against market and internal data to support Talent Management processes, which includes pulling and preparing current team member data to prepare offers for Promotions, Job Evaluations, Job Changes, Salary Increases, etc.
  • Administers the annual merit program. 
  • Evaluates and proposes step rate and salary range adjustments.
  • Collaborates with HRIS to review systems updates and test system before launching of merit. 
  • Creates presentations and communication materials.
  • Administers sales incentive programs by preparing quarterly calculations. 
  • Prepares presentations, and communications on changes to programs.
  • Works in collaboration with HRIS to ensure data integrity of compensation fields such as job set up, updates to salary ranges, automation of bonus processing and ensures the compensation is aligned to the job.

HR Projects and Initiatives

  • Monitors the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending plan revisions as well as new plans that are cost-effective and consistent with compensation trends and company objectives; coordinates implementation and provides guidance to all departments.
  • Participates in projects and initiatives as the compensation advisor and provides guidance to ensure alignment with compensation policies and processes.
  • Works collaboratively with HR Leaders to design, update and align compensations plans and policies to meet company strategy.
  • Participates and conducts exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure company compensation objectives are achieved. 
  • Conducts compensation benchmark studies as needed to research and update compensation plans and policies.
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and makes recommendations to continually improve compensation processes.

Data Presentation and Reporting

  • Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting data.
  • Ensures compensation data integrity in HRIS and other HR-related systems and processes.
  • Prepares and submits legal and compliance documents/reports as required.

Here's what you must have to be considered for this role:

  • Three Plus Years of Progressively Responsible Experience in Compensation Administration

  • Demonstrated Ability to Conduct Data Analysis

  • Advanced MS Office Suite Skills (Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

  • Advanced Communication Skills

  • Ability to Work Collaboratively Across the Organization and with a Variety of Leadership Levels

Here's what we hope you will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or Other Related Field

  • Working Knowledge of Human Resource Laws, Processes and Program Administration

  • Bilingual in Spanish and English

  • Previous Experience Administering Sales Performance/Incentive Compensation Programs

  • Previous Workday HRIS Experience

  • Previous Experience with Payscale

  • Knowledge of Government Regulations as They Apply to Compensation Base and Incentive Programs, Company Policies, and Operations

  • CCP Certification
