Community Field Based Travel 100%.

Position Purpose: Manage, develop, implement and sustain community relations programs and initiatives throughout the state.

  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders, advocacy organizations and advisory committees for all health plan populations
  • Collaborate with the quality improvement and medical management teams to assess systemic needs and develop health improvement initiatives in the community
  • Develop, implement and maintain community outreach initiatives to increase brand awareness and grow membership
  • Independently identify and cultivate relationships with community partners for collaboration on public policy initiatives
  • Manage charitable giving program in accordance with health plan priorities
  • Serve as the primary contact for the health plan at community health fairs, events and meetings
  • Oversee the coordination and delivery of community events and agency presentations
  • Produce accurate and timely reports, communications and marketing materials for both internal and external purposes
  • Adhere to and promote compliance with federal and state regulations and contractual agreements
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

  • Event Planner or Event Coordinator
  • Strong computer skills
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish and Hattian Creole nice to have

Candidate MUST live in Delaware

Community Field Based Travel 100%

Work Schedule is Monday – Friday with occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, community relations, social work, business administration, related field or equivalent experience. 6+ years of marketing, sales or community relations experience. Previous managed care experience in Medicaid or Medicare preferred. Bilingual is a plus.

License/Certification: Current state’s driver’s license. State Driver’s License. Obtain current state’s Accident and Health Insurance Agent License within 6 months of hire.

Pay Range: $70,100.00 - $126,200.00 per year

Centene offers a comprehensive benefits package including: competitive pay, health insurance, 401K and stock purchase plans, tuition reimbursement, paid time off plus holidays, and a flexible approach to work with remote, hybrid, field or office work schedules.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law, including full-time or part-time status.  Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives. Benefits may be subject to program eligibility.
