Are you a licensed clinician who thrives in high-impact situations and wants to make a real difference when families need it most?

RHA Health Services is seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Clinical Therapist to provide short-term, intensive crisis stabilization services to children and families in the community. This is not a desk-based therapy role — this is hands-on, relationship-driven, real-world clinical work where your expertise directly changes outcomes.

What You’ll Do

As a Crisis Response Clinician, you will:

  • Provide short-term crisis therapy (up to 8 weeks) following a behavioral health crisis

  • Deliver services in home and community settings

  • Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop service recommendations

  • Support children and families in building:

    • Coping and emotional regulation skills

    • Behavior and anger management strategies

    • Daily living and community functioning skills

  • Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans

  • Facilitate discharge planning and transition support

  • Coordinate care with psychiatry, community partners, schools, legal systems, and natural supports

  • Participate in a rotating on-call crisis response system (8am–11pm)

You will work alongside a dynamic team of clinicians, Qualified Professionals, and Family Partners to provide coordinated, high-quality behavioral health interventions.

Schedule

  • Flexible clinician-driven scheduling

  • Includes evening availability

  • Rotating on-call coverage (8am–11pm, 7 days/week)

What We’re Looking For

A licensed clinician who:

  • Is confident assessing and treating co-occurring disorders (mental illness, personality disorders, substance use)

  • Can work independently with minimal supervision

  • Has strong crisis assessment and de-escalation skills

  • Communicates effectively with families, courts, schools, and community providers

  • Thrives in fast-paced, unpredictable environments

  • Values teamwork and reflective collaboration

Required Credentials

Must meet criteria for one of the following:

  • LCSW

  • LCMHC

  • LCSWA

  • LCMHCA

Must hold active licensure (or provisional licensure) through the governing board regulating a human service profession and maintain continuing education requirements.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift up to 40 lbs and pull up to 25 lbs

  • Squat, kneel, crouch, climb, and stoop

  • Perform CPR from floor level

  • Stand and walk regularly

  • Maintain visual and auditory acuity
