Communications Summer Trainee

We are looking for a

Communications Summer Trainee

to join our KONE IT, Technology and Services team in Espoo, Finland.

As a Trainee, you will get to work with our IT professionals, a group of technology and services-oriented people on a variety of tasks, both internal in the organization and external towards wider KONE organization on the communication, including content creation and storytelling, as well as social media. These are just some examples of what you might find yourself doing next summer – we will tailor your role based on your background and interests. 

This summer internship entails four months of full-time work with a preferred starting date in May. 

This Trainee position is for you, if you are:

• Majoring in Communications, Journalism or Marketing.
• Excellent in written and verbal communication in English (native level).
• Enthusiastic to learn about communications and have a can-do attitude towards any task at hand.
• A creative storyteller with an interest in content creation.
• Able to work independently with self-discipline.
• Competent in digital content creation and channels.
• Interested in working in a global and multicultural organization and team. 
• Ready to collaborate cross-teams and co-create with your colleagues.

It would also be great if you have: 

• Experience in content creation at SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and/or any other social media monitoring and listening.
• Previous experience of web tools, videography and photography (please attach a sample work you have done/produced).
• Great visual skills and an appreciation for creative work.
