The Communications Specialist will play a pivotal support role in a high-impact marketing and communications department at a global corporation. We are looking for an agile, detail-oriented, early-career professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking to learn the complexities of an AI-forward team, while telling the stories of a company driving industry-leading innovation.
This position offers the flexibility to work remotely two days a week, or from our global corporate HQ in Midtown, Atlanta, GA. (This is not a fully-remote role). This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
What You’ll Do:
Monitor media coverage (digital and traditional) and track relevant mentions and trends.
Research speaking engagements (both in-person and pre-recorded/virtual) and awards opportunities.
Develop high-quality content for the corporate social media channels, maintaining a consistent and engaging brand voice.
Analyze user engagement, social media post metrics, and conduct competitor and content analysis.
Use advanced social media analytics tools (DataStudio, Sprout Social, and native platforms) to understand trends.
Orchestrate staging and distribution of internal emails and newsletters via our email platform.
Assist with quantitative and qualitative reporting on key external and internal communications metrics.
What Experience You Need:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or other communications disciplines.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adjust voice for writing for a variety of audiences.
Proficiency in AI is required.
High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
Understanding of digital and social media platforms.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
Energetic approach to work with an innovative and proactive mindset.
