Ready to be part of the experience?

Now, let’s discuss this role and what you will do to help achieve Fever’s mission.

DICE is redefining how fans discover and attend live music, and we’re looking for someone who can redefine how stories are told.

As our Director of Communications, you’ll shape and lead DICE’s global narrative at a pivotal time of growth and transformation. You’ll work independently from our London HQ, embedded in the core of the business, close to decision-makers, and with the freedom to build a bold, strategic comms vision that’s as authentic and genre-defying as the artists and scenes we support.

You’ll need to move fluently between underground music culture and business strategy. One foot in the club, one foot in the boardroom. You’ll craft compelling narratives, manage high-stakes reputational moments, and amplify DICE’s presence across global media—always with cultural intelligence, business acumen, and creative instinct.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and lead DICE’s global communications strategy—independent, yet integrated within the wider Fever ecosystem.
  • Act as brand guardian and tone-setter: make sure every message, from a press release to a tweet, reflects who we are and where we’re going.
  • Build a multi-market PR roadmap that elevates DICE’s story across music, tech, and business media.
  • Develop and nurture authentic relationships with press, tastemakers, cultural institutions, and artist communities—especially in music-forward cities like London, New York, Berlin, and Paris.
  • Act as spokesperson when needed—or brief and train others to do so.
  • Navigate complex reputation or comms challenges with transparency and credibility.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Brand, and Partnerships teams to create unified, impactful comms around launches, features, and strategic moments.
  • Lead the development of thought leadership platforms for DICE execs.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and freelancers across regions.
  • Track, report and interpret media impact and brand sentiment.
  • Support internal communications in moments of transformation or opportunity.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in communications, PR, or editorial strategy—ideally in music, tech, culture, or creative industries.
  • You’ve led communications for a brand that’s not afraid to challenge convention.
  • Excellent writing skills: from sharp quotes to long-form profiles, you know how to shape narrative and adapt tone.
  • Deep familiarity with the music ecosystem—from promoters and venues to media and artist relations.
  • Global mindset: you've worked across markets and understand cultural nuance.
  • Strong business and strategic sensibility: you know how to make communications serve commercial and brand objectives.
  • Ability to operate independently, with autonomy and ownership of projects and relationships.
  • Experience managing crisis comms or high-pressure public moments.
  • Comfortable collaborating with creative and technical teams alike.

Nice to have:

  • A personal connection to music—whether as a former promoter, DJ, writer, artist manager, or die-hard fan.
  • Experience in both in-house and agency environments.
  • A strong network in media and music industry circles.
  • Fluency in additional languages beyond English.
  • Familiarity with the dynamics of scale-ups or M&A transitions.

Benefits and Perks

  • Attractive compensation package.
  • Opportunity to have a real impact in a high-growth global category leader.
  • 40% discount on all Fever events and experiences.
  • Competitive pension plan.
  • Work in the heart of the city, with possible travel across our markets.
  • Hybrid working model.
  • Responsibility from day one and professional and personal growth.
  • Great work environment with a young, international team of talented people to work with!
