Hello Future Communications Manager:
The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and delivering proactive, integrated, and innovative internal communication strategies that align with the organisation’s people agenda and business priorities.
This role requires a strategic thinker who can anticipate communication needs, translate complex business initiatives into clear and engaging messaging, and act as a trusted partner to leadership. The role also includes people leadership responsibility, with a Communications Assistant reporting into the position.

Act as a Strategic & BusinessAligned Communications Manager
Develop and execute internal communication plans aligned to the HC (Human Capital) calendar.
Drive communication for key business milestones, including business updates, division launches, group surveys, group strategy initiatives, and interim results.
Leverage organisational initiatives to deliver cohesive, engaging, and timely communication.
Drive Change & Awareness Through Communication
Review and assess current communication processes, with a specific focus on Debt Review.
Create awareness and understanding through clear, targeted, and impactful communication.
Ensure all change communications are aligned with overall business strategy and objectives.
Deliver Proactive & Innovative Communication
Anticipate communication needs and take proactive action rather than reacting to requests.
Think on your feet and adapt communication approaches as business priorities evolve.
Introduce innovative tools, channels, and formats to improve engagement and reach.
Engage and Partner with Stakeholders & Leadership
Build and maintain strong relationships with executive and senior leadership.
Partner with leaders to advise on communication strategy, messaging, and timing.
Facilitate regular, meaningful engagements between leadership and employees.
Lead and Develop a Team
Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to a Communications Assistant.
Manage performance, development, and capability building within the communications function.

Qualification: Bachelor of Arts preferred
Work Experience:
Business Communications / Public Relations - 4 to 5 Years
4–5 years’ experience in Business Communications or Public Relations.
Experience in internal and change communications.
Proven experience managing or leading others is advantageous.
