The Communications Manager drives external communication strategy, plan and implementation
Partner with business and operational leaders, including CEO, as well as external agency, to plan, develop, and execute media relations and other communications tactics to reach and engage external stakeholders.
Partner with internal marketing and content team to ensure alignment of content themes, messaging, and other external-facing efforts
Facilitate and coordinate the execution of speaking and other engagements, offering dedicated support to executives. Ensure the success of high-profile interactions and contribute to the overall effectiveness of company events and gatherings.
Manage external resources in furtherance of communication and PR objectives
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelors in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, English or related field (or equivalent experience) and 5 years experience.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Experience developing and implementing external communications and PR strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
· Masters Degree & 8 years experience in communications or related field
· Experience managing agencies and external partners
· Experience coordinating with marketing and content efforts
· A strong track record of execution
· Ability to manage a variety of key initiatives concurrently
· Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
· Highly proactive and collaborative style
Compensation
The compensation range for this position is $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 annually. This position will be eligible for commission or an annual performance incentive plan. The base pay actually offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, location, experience and take into account internal equity.Benefits
