Position Overview
The Communications and Human Resources Coordinator for METACA (Middle East, Türkiye, Africa and Central Asia) provides operational and communications support to the METACA communications and human resources functions. This is a mid-level, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
We are looking for a highly organized, proactive team member who enjoys bringing people, ideas, and projects together. If you enjoy working with people and take pride in making things run smoothly behind the scenes, this role offers the chance to contribute to the teams that shape the employee experience at Boeing while keeping internal and external stakeholders informed and engaged. The role is ideal for a professional with at least five years of experience who enjoys hands-on internal communications, event coordination, video production, and high-level administrative responsibilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to::
Internal Communications:
Act as the METACA Boeing News Now (BNN) topic owner in close coordination with the global BNN team.
Create, edit, and select BNN articles for the bi-weekly METACA BNN newsletter.
Proofread articles and ensure consistency with smart-brevity format and AP style.
Coordinate approvals and distribution of the newsletter.
Provide metrics on the newsletter's performance.
Coordinate logistics for quarterly METACA All Teams meetings, including managing invitations, IT set up, and audiovisual support. Support ad hoc All Teams meetings during executive visits.
Manage formatting and distribution of internal announcements.
Manage the METACA communications mailbox, ensuring mailbox is up-to-date and accessible to all employees.
Collaborate with the REACH (employee engagement) teams and other departments for seamless execution of internal events and meetings.
Implement other internal communications tactics in support of the Boeing communications strategy.
Event Management:
Coordinate logistics for events, trade shows, and media gatherings, including venue selection, invitations, catering, and audiovisual equipment.
Manage third-party logo requests.
Provide the Communications and HR functions with video editing support using Adobe Pro and other licensed tools.
Create and edit videos for BNN and Boeing social media channels, notably supporting video editing for the Pick Up Your Wings and Fly Instagram community.
Support logistics around STEM and community partnerships.
Apply and enforce applicable highly complex communication standards and formats to ensure brand consistency.
Administrative Support:
Provide high-level administrative support to the METACA communications and HR teams. Occasionally supporting the India communications team.
Schedule meetings and prepare and organize meeting materials.
Manage and update the team calendar of communications activities.
Support the METACA communications team and the METACA HR Director with travel arrangements and expense reports.
Organize and coordinate weekly communications team meetings and manage the three weekly PR agency Work-in-Progress calls. Responsible for agenda and follow up.
Manage and organize communications materials and giveaway items.
Manage external vendor registration and process.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
Fluent in written and spoken English
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Certified video editing skills (Adobe Pro)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
Arabic language skills
Salesforce
Project management (PMP certification)
Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar function. An interest in AI-tools is a must.
